Nationwide Air Testing – Next Day Air Permeability & Air Leakage Tests
Airtightness testing in Wigan UK is a mandatory requirement for all new build developments. It’s mandated by Part L of the Building Regulations and helps lower energy bills, saves money on carbon emissions and lessens the environmental impact of the building.
Air testers use blower door testing equipment – basically big fans – to pressurise and depressurise a building, measuring pressure differences over cracks and openings as an indication of how much air escapes through the building fabric.
