Sound Insulation Testing

Sound insulation testing is a legal requirement in the UK for new and converted dwellings. Building regulations require that such tests are carried out by qualified and registered testers who have undergone appropriate training and have been accredited by a third party approved by the MHCLG. Members of the ANC Registration Scheme, UKAS accredited companies and acoustic consultants are all suitable for carrying out pre-completion tests. The ANC registration scheme covers all its members, who are registered and qualified to carry out sound insulation testing.
