Electric underfloor heating. There are two main types of underfloor heating: electric and hydronic. Electric systems use electricity to heat your floors and hot water uses water. Both types of systems use a pump to move the water through pipes. Underfloor radiant heating systems use electricity, water, or geothermal or solar heat pumps to warm your floors and space. Each type of system can provide a warm floor or room. Each type requires a different setup.
