A building envelope is a structure that protects its interior and exterior from external environmental factors. Properly installed, this system reduces stress on mechanical systems, lowers energy bills, and increases resale value. Although a building’s entire envelope is comprised of several components, they work together to achieve a maximum efficiency level. Replacing one part of the system will increase the building’s overall efficiency. Changing all components will increase the building’s efficiency and longevity.
