The contract has been awarded by Thirteen Group as part of a major investment programme that is underway across its housing stock. The Component Replacement Programme and Omits 2021-22 programme was procured via Prosper.

Internal and external works will be undertaken to improve properties in the regions, with window and door replacement, roofline repairs and new rainwater goods among the project work.

Thirteen is a landlord and housing developer which manages a stock of 34,000 properties from North Tyneside to Yorkshire, with the majority in Teesside. Head of investment Graham Morgan added: “We’re pleased to be working in partnership with Esh once again to deliver this much-needed investment work, which will make a big difference to our customers’ homes.

Residents are also set to benefit from full heating and boiler replacement, as well as new kitchens, bathrooms, and property re-wires.

Another great win for our refurbishment team.

Colin Ford, construction director at Esh Construction based in North East, Tees Valley, Yorkshire and Humber, said: “This latest contract award adds to a combined £6.7m of projects Esh is currently delivering in partnership with Thirteen, and is another great win for our refurbishment team.

“As we head into the colder months, these much-needed home improvements and replacements become even more essential to ensure that residents have a safe, warm, and comfortable home. We look forward to work getting underway.”
